Strawberry Pretzel Jell-O

 Ingredients:

2 cups crushed pretzels

1 cup and 3 Tbsp sugar

3/4 cup melted butter

1 8 oz pkg cream cheese

1 12 oz tub cool whip

1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O

3 cups boiling water

1 pkg frozen strawberries

Method:

Mix together pretzels, 3 Tbsp sugar, butter and press into a 9x13 inch pan.  Bake at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.  Cool completely.

Blend together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and cool whip.  Spread mixture onto pretzel crust.

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.  Add strawberries.  Let set until syrupy.  Pour over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until set.

You can substitute raspberries for strawberries.
