Ingredients:
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp avocado oil
2-3 tsp dried basil leaves
1 tsp grated lemon peel
1 clove garlic, crushed
Method:
In a small bowl whisk together vinegar, mustard, oil, basil, lemon peel and garlic.
Marinade chicken for 2-24 hours, remove from the marinade and broil 5 inches from the flame for about 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
Use as a marinade for chicken, pork or seafood. Discard the marinade after use.
You can replace the lemon peel with lemon juice, and the basil with rosemary and marjoram for a different flavor. You can marinade cubes of meat then place on a skewer with peppers and mushrooms for kabobs.
