Macaroni and Cheese

Ever wonder what to do with all that ham you have leftover from Christmas?  This is a family favorite and I consider it a healthy dish that the whole family will love!  You can obviously  double or triple this recipe or really go overboard.

9 oz macaroni noodles (or curly noodles, or penne noodles...)
8 oz cheddar cheese (or pepper jack, or...) you may want more cheese than this?
leftover ham (optional and the more the merrier)
4 eggs
3 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp parsley
dehydrated onion or 1/2 fresh onion
3 minced garlic cloves
salt and pepper to taste.

Cook the noodles, grate the cheese, heat your oven to 350 degrees F.  Spray the pan you are using with a non-stick spray.  9x9 or 9x13?  Place half noodles in pan, top with half cheese and all of ham.  Place remainder of noodles in pan and the other half of cheese on top.  In a medium bowl whisk together remainder of ingredients then pour into pan until at least 3/4 the way up the noodles.  You want to see the liquid mixture, if you can't add more milk until you do, don't over do it either.  Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.

Serves 4.
